Facebook received the largest Data Protection fine in history

The Federal trade Commission of the USA is analysing the course of action to be taken against Facebook now that is has been reported that 2.2 billion users got their data protection rights violated.
It is being analysed if the present situation represents a violation of the 2011 settlement.
This potential fine is independent to the number of judicial cases surrounding data protection flaws at Facebook end and the misprocessing of personal data.
