Some crown dependencies commit to the UBO register

Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man, commit to setting up a register of beneficial owners and controlling persons by 2021.

By beginning of 2021 the database will be interconnected with law enforcement and by 2022 open to further participants.

The register will be made public on 2023 as per the joint statement.

The plan searches to align the dependencies  with the requirements lay down in the 5th EU AML directive.
Other dependencias and protectorates have not disclosed comprehensive plans as yet.
